Unfortunately as the game has unfolded the narrative has now shifted to a terrifying event involving an Edmonton Oilers fan in the stands.
According to multiple reports the game has been temporarily stopped due to a major medical emergency involving a fan.
Fans and even players were reportedly shaken by the events that took place as medical personnel came into the arena to attend to the fan.
According to a further report it seems that the EMTs on scene were administering CPR to the fan in question.
When the fan first began to show signs of distress the Edmonton Oilers medical staff were the first on scene to give the fan care as the EMTs made their way to the area.
