Meet Luna! A poor mother dog found herself in the wrong place, giving birth under a car to six beautiful puppies. Someone evil put poison in her food, attempting to kill her. Trembling under the car, her eyes searched desperately for her babies.

A kind man found her and called us for help. We arrived quickly, and despite her heavy breathing, Luna lifted her head, begging us to save her puppies. The vet administered an emergency shot for the poison. Luna was scared, but the vet assured us she would be okay. Weak from the ordeal, Luna still longed to see her children. Unable to fully control her body due to the effects of the poison, she stayed close to her pups.

The next day, Luna was checked, and everything was okay. She did not leave her children’s side for even a minute. Luna is affectionate, grateful, and smart, longing for attention, praise, and hugs. It was clear she wasn’t a stray but had been abandoned. She loves her new surroundings, enjoying playing and running around. Meanwhile, her babies were healthy but too young for adoption.

On day 13, Luna’s babies began playing and following her around. Luna was thrilled to interact with the other rescue  dogs, even nursing two motherless puppies she met for the first time. Such a kind mother, caring for pups not her own.

A month later, Luna’s puppies had grown and were ready for adoption. After two months, we prepared Luna for travel to Los Angeles, ensuring she received necessary shots against Parvo infection. On the goodbye day, she expressed gratitude and thanks. “Take care of yourself, honey, and have a good and happy life,” we told her as we bid farewell.
